The National Arts Centre Orchestra of Canada has invited Avan to perform in the coming season. He will perform with Music Director Pinchas Zukerman on two separate occasions: first in October 2009 for the National Youth and Education Trust Benefit Concert and then for two concerts in the orchestra's subscription series in June 2010. For the Benefit Concert in October, he will be joining world-renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma as the two feature soloists.
