Avan will perform the Chopin Piano Concerto in F minor, Op.21 with the Victoria Symphony and Montreal-based conductor Jean-Francois Rivest on January 9 and 11, 2010 in Duncan and Victoria, BC respectively. The program features music with a French connection. Besides the Chopin concerto, the orchestra will also play Fauré Pelléas et Mélisande and Bizet Symphony in C.
